I  am a third year student at the University of Toledo in Law & Social Thought and Economics. My primary interests are in peace and social justice, and I spend a lot of my time advocating for issues as diverse as LGBT rights, the environment, challenging dominant conceptions of “third world” “development,” and poverty.
I am exceedingly involved on and beyond campus, and really enjoy the topics I have been able to pursue academically through my programs.
I currently intend to go to grad school after I obtain my two Bachelor's degrees, probably to pursue a J.D./Ph.D combination, and hopefully at a “fancy”/reputable institution.
Particularly after traveling to Zambia, Africa, I have become very interested in the impact of neoliberalism, globalization, development, etc. on global poverty and other challenges. I hope to use my education to make as big an impact on the world as I can, and have a little fun while doing it :-)
